Rebecca Kay Stahl joined her Lord and Savior on September 23, 2015. She was born January 23, 1942 in Victoria, Texas to Victor and Adele Hamilton. The oldest of two daughters, she was raised in Pleasanton and Amarillo. Following graduation, she attended the University of Texas as a Fine Arts major. She subsequently employed her artistic eye as a successful interior designer in the San Antonio area.
But her true passion was her family. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother to her children and "Nana" to her three grandchildren.
Rebecca faithfully served Christ and was an active member of Castle Hills Baptist Church.
Rebecca's smile, positivity, perseverance and graciousness will be deeply missed. Who finds a woman of valour? For she is precious beyond incomparable precious stones (Prov 31:1.) We will miss you Precious, Rebecca.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Rebecca is survived by her husband of 25 years, Walton Stahl; daughters, Wendy Kay Cochran and Carmen Malia Major; son, Chad Stahl and wife Susan; grandchildren, Cole, Clair and Will; and sister, Carmen Pettit and husband Lyle.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2015, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
