Rebecca Hooks Espinoza, age 76, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family in San Antonio, Texas, on Friday, March 19, 2021, She was a woman of many talents but most of all, she enjoyed visiting and talking to family and friends, loved to drink her delicious coffees outside enjoying nature and watering her roses and plants. She was born on October 15, 1944 in Donna, TX to parents Victor and Belen Hooks, She was preceded in death by parents, Victor and Belen Hooks; son, Mike Hooks Espinoza; siblings, Fred Hooks, Phillipe Hooks, Benito Hooks, Paul Hooks, Lilly Ancisco, Anita Prado, and Rachel Barocio. Rebecca is survived by her children, Miguel H. Espinoza, Esmeralda Hernandez (Joe), Ruby Webb (Robert), Amber Lunan (Michael), Pearl Barroso (Victor); sister, Ida E. Hooks, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly remembered by her grandchildren for her cups of coffee she would make for them along with some of her AMAZING bean tacos! The immediate family will receive family and friends from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, April 10th, 2021, at The Holy Spirit Hall, Arrangements can be sent to 1302 Parlia Ln. San Antonio TX, 78245 starting April 8th, 2021.
