

Regina Sullivan Fletcher died peacefully on October 7, 2025. She was born on December 13, 1938, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, the daughter of Daniel Francis Sullivan and Mary Aloyse Lawless Sullivan from New Bedford, Massachusetts.
Regina graduated from Dartmouth High in Dartmouth, Massachusetts in 1956. She worked for New England Telephone & Telegraph Company, Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Company, and Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and retired (SWBT) in March 1998.
After retirement, she joined the Friendship Force of San Antonio in 1998 served as Treasurer, News Editor and Assistant Exchange Director. She entertained ambassador visitors from several countries: Moscow, Russia, Trujillo Peru, Isle of Wright, England. Scotland and ambassadors from the USA.
She loved visiting her family in New Bedford, MA and the family home on Martha's Vineyard. Traveled and cruised the world with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. One of her most interesting trips was to China with the Cheng family.
Regina was a member of St. Helena Catholic Church and served as secretary for St. Vincent de Paul - St. Helena's Conference 7 yrs. Regina was a member of the AT&T CWA 6143 in San Antonio, Texas.
Regina was preceded in death by her husband, Stephenson Fletcher; her parents; brother, Daniel F. Sullivan; and sister, Karen A Perry
Survived by her children, Kathleen Ann Miller, of San Antonio, Robin Lee Cordy and husband, Kirk A. Cordy, of Roxboro, NC, and son, Robert Foster Carlisle Jr. and wife, Dinah of Bastrop, TX; her siblings, James L. Sullivan and wife, Barbara of Mattapoisett, MA; Alicia Sullivan of Newport News, VA; James L. Sullivan and wife, Barbara of Mattapoisett, MA; Alicia Sullivan of Newport News, VA; eight grandchildren, Eric Miller, Nicole Ashley Miller, Heather Cordy, Kirk Cordy Jr., Bobby Cordy, Devin Foster Carlisle, Hunter Slate Carlisle, and Pearce Logan Carlisle.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Porter Loring Mortuary, with a Memorial Service to follow.
Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
