Reginald "Reg" Fontenot

Reginald “Reg” Fontenot, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, was called home by the Lord on Friday October 11, 2013, at the age of 58. He was born May 27, 1955 to David and Bernice (Jones) Fontenot in San Antonio, TX. He attended Brackenridge High School and Wichita State University. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He was a journalist for newspapers in Orlando, Fl and Wichita, KS, a graphic designer for the Express-News and then became a self-employed graphic designer.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Fontenot and brothers, Dwain Fontenot and Billy Caballero. He is survived by his wife, Amy M. Fontenot; mother, Bernice Jones-Fontenot; daughter, Tuesday Fontenot; granddaughter, Shondie Fontenot Parker; sisters, Patruda Allen (Lars), Alisa Jones, Darlene Fontenot, Marlene Fontenot-Johnson (Robert); brothers, Karl Jones, Marvin Fontenot (Ivory), Jerry Fontenot, Joseph Trent Andrepont (Brenda), and Wendell Jones. Also left to cherish his memory are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 12:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
