During his 45 years on Earth, Rene wore many hats. He was a son, a brother, a friend, a husband, a fire fighter, and even a cage fighter. But the hat he wore with the most enthusiasm and devotion was as a father. He loved his son Leo and would have done anything for him.
He had such a powerful presence it could precede him into a room. In joy he was magnetic, his smile contagious, his laugh captivating. He loved his life his way and made no excuses for it.
We are more heartbroken than words can describe for a future we hoped for and will never see, but we take comfort in knowing he's no longer in pain.
He is survived by his son, Leonardo Dante Rendon
