Obituary of Reno Adolph Schubert
IN THE CARE OF

Sunset Northwest Funeral Home

Reno entered rest on January 31, 2019 at the age of 98 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Seguin, Texas on September 26, 1920. Reno is survived by his wife of 75 years, Dorothy; daughter Charlotte Osborn (granddaughter Dawn and husband Tony Judson, great-granddaughter Ayla), son William and wife Susan (grandson William, great-granddaughter Violet, great-grandson Cypress; grandson Darren; and granddaughter Kristin and husband Chad Sellers, great-grandson Kyle, great-granddaughters Natalie and Amanda). Reno was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Lottie Schubert, brothers Wilton and Woodrow, sister Lillian, son-in law Donald Osborn, and great-grandson Derek Judson.

Reno was much loved by family and friends, and when not working as a purchasing agent in the automotive industry, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, traveling, and giving a helping hand to those that needed it.

As posted by his great-grandson, Kyle Sellers:

“RIP to our Great Popo. Not too long after celebrating his 98th birthday and 75th wedding anniversary, his fight came to an end the other day, leaving a long and healthy impression on our family and this earth. I know you’ll be enjoying all the Shinerbock and Spurs games you can possibly have in heaven! I love you
