July 19, 1929-September 3, 2014
Renza Moscatelli Baker went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. at her home in Windcrest, Texas. She fought for this life long and hard with her usual intrepid spirit until her time had come.
Renza was a refined, gracious, elegant lady. Born in Ancona, Italy on July 19, 1929, she taught herself to speak English in a most refined, proper manner. She had a varied life, becoming an expert in child development, studying under Dr. Maria Montessori herself, working in this field both in England and America. She also worked in the Italian movie industry, knew and worked with the stars of her day.
Renza was an accomplished artist, with her home elegantly displaying her many paintings. She had many Tai Chi friends and students, for she studied and taught that discipline for approximately 20 years.
She is survived by her beloved husband of over 47 years, Colonel Harvey Baker. She worked by his side as a homemaker, officer's wife and Texas homebuilder. Renza is also survived by many family members including those in Italy and parts of Europe.
Her wish is to finally rest along the Adriatic Sea near her birth place. She is missed by her many friends and family.
