

"Butch", as he was known to his family and many friends, was born in San Antonio, March 27, 1947.
He graduated from Jefferson High School, and later from UT Austin where he majored in Mathematics. Upon graduation and his Texas National Guard duty, Butch joined his family business, Cookies Factory Outlet. Butch worked with his parents and later took over the business which was established 54 years ago.
He was a lifetime member of Congregation Agudas Achim. His family and many friends will long remember his wit, and keen sense of humor, along with his kindness, generosity and big heart. Butch was preceded in death by his parents, William "Cookie" and Helen Adelstein.
He is survived by his wife Rochelle, and the joys of his life, his two sons; Sam and his wife, Amanda, Jason and his fianceé, Vicki, and his adored granddaughters; Madison, Bailey, and Brooke Adelstein, and his sister, Yvonne.
