Reuben H. Gutierrez age 87, passed away November 7, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Devine, Texas on July 15, 1926. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Rafaela Gutierrez, brother, Robert Gutierrezand granddaughter, Mindy Gutierrez. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rose Marie Gutierrez; son, Reuben H. Gutierrez Jr. ; daughter, Yolanda Roberts; granddaughters, Lyana Garcia and Kimberly Adams; great-grandchildren, Aiden Sutherland, Zachary Sutherland, Mia Sutherland, Haley Adams and Brendan Rawlinson; sisters, Bertha Salas, Sylvia Leach, Norma (Gerard) Barloco and Blanche Yancey; brother, Richard (Rosie) Gutierrez; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at the Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery # 3.
