Reyes “Gonzo” Gonzales born May 18th, 1956 to Juanita Campos Gonzales & Ysabel C. Gonzales. He was a graduate of George West High School. A former Marine and for the last 40 years a cross country truck driver. Reyes was preceded by his parents Juanita & Ysabel Gonzales, a brother Ysabel Jr., and a brother-in-law Robert. He is survived by his wife Janice Gonzales, two daughters Natalie & Lillie, three grandkids Corbin, Jade, & Samuel, four sisters Mary, Mary Lou, Janie, Lila & two brothers Joe & Felipe.
He was a proud Marine Veteran, loved his family, avid Dallas Cowboys fan, loved collecting rocks from the places he visited while working, and loved the outdoors.
Burial services will be held on Tuesday, May 12th, 2026 at 2:30PM sharp at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery located at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
