Reynaldo Martinez Jr.

Reynaldo “Ray” Martinez Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was a man known for his strength, his hard work, and his unwavering dedication to those he loved.

Ray is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Roxanne Martinez; his children George, Ray, Desirey, Darian, Megan, and Mia; his siblings Brenda, Roger, Laura, and Eddie; and all of his nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild who will carry his memory forward.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Reynaldo Martinez Sr. and Rebecca Martinez, whose legacy he honored throughout his life.

Ray was a man of many hats in every sense of the word. A hardworking man with a strong work ethic, he took pride in everything he did. His passion for his job as we knew him also as “Repo Ray”, he took on so many cases from start to finish and made sure the job got done right as a proud repossession agent.

His willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He was dependable, strong, and always willing to step up when someone needed him.

Outside of work, Ray found joy in the simple things in life. He loved watching TV shows and movies with his family, listening to country music, and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys on football nights. Most of all, he cherished being at home, spending quiet time with his family and his dogs, where he felt most at peace.

Ray will be remembered for his strength, his humor, his stubborn determination, and his big heart. He lived life his way—“always the hard way”—but always with love for his family at the center of everything he did.

His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the stories shared, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, on August 15, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am, with a Rosary service at 7:00 pm.
