

Reynaldo Villarreal, 91, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, January 22, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. Born on November 15, 1929 in Salinas Victoria, Mexico to Juana Garza and Felipe Villarreal.
Reynaldo loved to tease and joke around. Whenever we would call, he would always say that mom wasn’t there because she had gone on a trip to Mexico when she was always right there with him and we could hear her voice. He loved surprises and to be surprised. A very handsome man who was always very well dressed. Reynaldo loved traveling; Vacation time was the best time. He would take the entire family to Mexico every two years. He had a great work ethic and was a good businessman. More than anything he loved God and was not afraid to tell everyone he met that salvation was through Jesus Christ alone. His favorite Bible verse was John 3:16.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Reynaldo is survived by his wife of 68 years, Raquel Villarreal; son, Reynaldo Villarreal, Jr. (Linda); daughters, Leticia Schwab (Jos) and Esther Poirot (Steve); grandchildren, Joy, Matthew, Angela, Sarah and Noah; 7 great-grandchildren; and brother, Manuel Villarreal (Anna Maria).
