Ricardo Ramiro Rodriguez, 66, went to be with the lord on July 22, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas after his battle with COVID-19.

He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on January 28, 1954. He was preceded in death by his parents Consuelo and Reynaldo Rodriguez, his brothers Noe Davila (Shirley), and Rodolfo Rodriguez. He was Survived by his wife Rosie Rodriguez, sons Raul Eric Narvaez (Pammy), Eric Alan Rodriguez, and Eduardo Antonio Rodriguez (Katie), his siblings Roger Davila (Lupe), Gloria Garcia (Mike), Yolanda Rojas (Humberto), Reuben Davila (Yolanda), Armando Rodriguez (Rosie), Maria Elena Rodriguez, Reynaldo Ramon Rodriguez Jr. (Olivia), Rene Rodriguez, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Ric devoted his life to God, family, friends, and neighbors. He served in the Army 2nd armored division and later worked in construction management. He was a very gifted artist and designer, and one of his greatest assets was that he could do or fix anything he set his mind to. Ric was a humble and compassionate man and was always willing to help someone in need. He inspired everyone around him to be a better person and to treat others with kindness and love. In his free time he enjoyed working in the yard, listening to Jazz, drinking coffee, and watching movies.

Our hearts are broken with his loss and he will be dearly missed but we gain comfort in knowing he rests peacefully with the Lord he loved so dearly. A service will be held on Monday August 3 at Church of the Blessed Sacrament at 11:30 followed by a private burial at Fort Sam Houston at 2:15. Both will be simulcast via Zoom and Facebook Live.

Ricy was a good friend and will be missed.
we enjoyed Saturday morning breakfasts at his favorite Taqueria.
Despite our different views on many things in this world we still were friends, and he was a guy that would drive across town to lend a hand,

Hello first my condolences to the Rodriguez family. Even though I new rick for a short time 2yrs .he made me laugh and mad at the same time ,he was a very brutally honest man. That was one of his many qualities, that and the fact that he had a big appetite for food ,life and work. I will sorely miss him. RIP! Friend. Say hi to God and my mom and pops.
