

Ricardo Salinas, born August 28, 1927 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, passed away on November 3, 2017 at the age of 90 in San Antonio, Texas. Ricardo proudly served in the military in Mexico. He also had a devoted career in the automotive industry and was a member of the United Autoworkers for of 30 years. Some of his hobbies included fishing, boxing, coin collecting, eating chicken wings, and was a chess champion. He loved to talk about the real estate market, and was forever loyal to the Chevy brand. Ricardo is preceded in death by his sister, Enriqueta Salinas and his two brothers, Guillermo Salinas and Cesar Salinas. He is survived by his loving wife, Pauline Salinas; children, Irene Salinas, Arturo Salinas, Diane Arredondo, David Salinas (Gail), Sally Salinas, Alice Salinas, German Hernandez; siblings, Irene Salinas, Carlos Salinas, Hermina Salinas, Enrique Salinas, Eva Salinas; grandchildren, Richard Salinas, Jerica Payne-Salinas, Romina Salinas; great grandchildren, Anacelie Salinas, Richard Salinas Jr, Angelina Salinas, Serenity Garcia, Easton Garcia, Legend Salinas and his pet Chewy. Ricardo Salinas is laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park.
