Visitation will be held at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78212. On December 21, 2016. At 7:00 am.

Funeral service will be held at Porter Loring Mortuary on December 21, 2016 at 8:00 am. Burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on December 21, 2016 at 9:00am. Porter Loring Mortuary are handling the funeral arrangements.

Richard Babcock is lovingly remember by his wife Poon Babcock, and his four children daughter Debra, son Randy, son Ricky and his son Dean, together with adoring fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Richard served twenty-three years with distinction, as a Tech Sergeant in the United States Airforce. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the Air Force never left him, as friends and family will attest. Richard was a successful business man, he took pride in his work to be a wonderful providers for his family and was diligent towards giving a helping hand to others. Richard retired from his business to pursue his joy of fishing, hunting and traveling with his lovely wife Poon.
