Richard Arthur Brothers, Sr., 71, of Killeen, Texas, passed away on December 3, 2025, in Temple, Texas. He was born on February 26, 1954, in Burlington, Vermont. Richard married Suk Brothers in 1973, and together they built a life full of love and created a beautiful family.
A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Richard served 15 years in the Army before being medically retired. He continued to serve his country through his work in Civil Service until his second retirement. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished and the countless individuals he touched throughout his life.
Richard is survived by his wife, Suk Brothers; children, Sharon Bozeman and Richard Arthur Brothers, Jr.; grandchildren; and many other extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on December 17, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home in San Antonio, Texas, followed by a funeral service. Richard will be laid to rest at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.
