He was a veteran who proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Richard was a loving husband, dad and Pawpaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Louise DeKan; children, Linda Davis and husband Terry, Sherri Davis and husband Mark, Cindy Cangelosi and husband Sam, Richard DeKan and wife Holly; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
