

Retired Master Sgt. Richard Rudolph Greiner, age 49, passed away on Sunday, 17 September 2017 at San Antonio Military Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas. He was born 20 November 1967 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a longtime resident of San Antonio, Texas.
His father, Thomas George, preceded him in death on 11 July 2011 and he is survived by his mother, Nancy Ann (Steinbach) Greiner of Henderson, Nevada. Richard is also, survived by his daughters, Sarah Nicole Greiner and Danielle Jane Greiner "little monkey"; and three beautiful grandchildren, Braxton David Mock, Jane Ann Greiner-Barton and Jensen Alexander Greiner (to whom he was known as Papa) all of San Antonio Texas.
Richard, known to most as Rich, graduated from Mukwonago High School in Mukwonago, Wisconsin and being the "True Patriot" he enlisted in the US Airforce and retired from the Intelligence Division after 22 years of service to his country. He voluntarily deployed to Desert Watch and Desert Storm and served in other overseas deployments during his tenure. His pride in being a member of the USAF was among his highest acclaims. Rich was an unrelenting fan of the Green Bay Packers and never missed watching a game, dressed in his "packer attire". He loved spending weekends on the lake, listening to his music (an avid Frank Sinatra fan), playing electronic Trivia and most of all bar-b-queuing with his family and friends. Rich was known for his kind heart, quick wit and welcoming smile. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
