Richard Frank Hernandez, 84, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on January 29, 2025. Born on November 22, 1940, in San Antonio to Antonio G. Hernandez and Eloise Gonzales, Richard was known for his friendly nature and deep love for his pets. He dedicated many years of his life working at Jim’s Restaurant, where he touched the lives of many. Richard will be remembered for his warm heart, kindness, and the joy he brought to those around him. He is survived by his family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A Visitation for Richard will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Ave, San Antonio, TX 78212. A Rosary will follow at 6:00 PM. A Graveside Service will occur Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78266.
