Richard Langlois

Richard Emil Langlois passed away on September 12, 2022. Richard was born on January 5, 1944 in Berlin, New Hampshire to Bernice and Edward Langlois. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister-in-law, and a nephew, Peter. Richard is survived by his wife of 30 years, Barbara Hervey, son Edward Langlois (Maria), son Christopher Hervey, and daughter Melissa Stryker (Kevin), as well as two grandsons, Edison and David, his brother Bruce, sister Sharon (Bill), many other nieces and nephews, and his friends and dedicated staff.

Richard graduated high school and received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from New Mexico Tech University, his Master of Science in Mathematics from New Mexico State University, and his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law. He practiced criminal law for 45 years.

An avid photographer, Richard enjoyed many adventures to places such as India, Thailand, Laos, Tanzania, Colombia, Ecuador, Canada, and many European sites.

The family respectfully requests privacy in their time of grief. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in Richard’s honor to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
