Richard LePere

Richard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends. He lived a life grounded in love, hard work, and dedication to those he cared about most.

On December 22nd, 1977, Richard married the love of his life, Metta Sherri LePere, beginning a journey that would span 49 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a family rooted in love, faith, and countless cherished memories.

Richard was a man of quiet strength, wisdom, and compassion. He had a generous heart and a willingness to help others whenever he could. Whether offering guidance, sharing a story, or simply being present for those he loved, Richard made a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Above all else, Richard treasured his family. He was proud of his children and found immense happiness in watching his grandchildren grow. The love he shared with them will continue to be felt for generations to come.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Sherri LePere; his son, Greg LePere and wife Carol LePere; his daughter, Ann Trotter; and his treasured grandchildren, Dustin Trotter, Michael LePere, and Addison Findley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Rita LePere, and his brother, Robert LePere.

Richard's family takes comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on through the values he instilled, the lives he touched, and the love he so freely gave. While his absence leaves a void that can never be filled, his memory will remain a source of strength and comfort for all who knew him.

A Memorial Service celebrating Richard's life will be held on Monday, July 27th, at 11:00 a.m. at: First Baptist Church 515 McCullough Avenue San Antonio, Texas 78215.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, celebrate Richard's life, and share the stories and memories that made him so special.
