Dick was retired from USAA. He was a longtime member and Deacon at Shearer Hills Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Lloyd; and sisters, Ida Sauve and Betty Schultz.
Richard is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara; son, Chris Lloyd (Phyllis); daughter Colleen Owen (Wayne); granddaughter Michele Taylor (Billy); brother, Robert; sister, Virginia Schliff; and numerous step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
