Richard Edward May

Richard graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1955. He received a BBA in Accounting from St. Mary's University and a Master's Degree from Central Michigan University. He started working at the US Army Audit Agency in 1960 and retired in 1994 having worked his entire career in civil service. During this time Richard received an award in recognition of selection as a member of the Senior Executive Service Department of the Army. Richard was an active Lifetime Member of the Auxiliary of St. Peter - St. Joseph Children's Home and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in San Antonio. He loved the Spurs and hunting and fishing with family.

Richard is survived by his wife, Karen May; two sons, Gerald May and Dr. Gregory May; daughter, Janelle Sykes and son-in-law, Bill Sykes; four grandchildren, Alycia DeGrazia, Brianna May, Bobby Sykes, and Calvin Sykes. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Billy Sykes.
