The son of Clifford and Jean Neville, he was born April 15, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan.
An avid race car driver in his youth, he volunteered for the Navy and served in the Pacific during WWII.
He obtained a Ph.D. and taught for several years in the U.S. and abroad. He went on to work as a printing press salesman in Latin America, selling over $1 Billion of U.S.-made machinery before he retired.
Dick split his time residing in the U.S. and Peru from the time he was 27 and recently completed his autobiography, "One Foot in Each Country," detailing his travels to over 75 countries and the relationships he built during his life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Anita Tavara Neville; his children, Christina, Clifford and Santiago; his two grandchildren, Ana Christina and Travis; as well as sisters, Barbara and Carol.
A beloved patriarch to his family and a good friend to all who knew him, he will always live in our hearts.
