Richard D. Santoyo

Richard D. Santoyo went to be with the Lord, February 13, 2012 at the age of 79. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years Olga V. Santoyo and grandson Kevin Santoyo. Mr. Santoyo is survived by his sons Richard Santoyo (Olivia), Reuben Santoyo (Hardy), Edward Santoyo, David Santoyo (Lillie), Kevin Santoyo (Ana); grandchildren Cristina, Richard III, Reuben, Eric, Deanna, Eddie, David, Stacy, Gabriella, Leeann, Clarissa; great grandchildren Marcus, Sebastian, Carolina; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He was a loving, story-telling dad and grandpa who loved Conjunto music. He retired from Kelly A.F.B after 38 years of Civil Service. He loved to refer to himself and a “Problem-solver”. A visitation will begin, Thursday, February 16, 2012, 3:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home, Friday, February 17, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, 1147 Cupples Rd.
