I have not been to LaFonda lately, but was just talking to my friend who would some time go with me about going and hoping Richard could serve us.  What a joy he brought to customers.  
He's dancing in heaven before the Lord.

We are saddened by your passing. Our sincere sympathy to your family. We have known Richard for over twenty years through La Fonda and La Fonda will not be the same without him. He was always happy and eager to please. May God be with him and the surviving family members, he will be so missed

Richard has been a very important person in my life.  We first met when I was six years old and I am now 52.  He was the waiter for my family as I was growing up and for the family I created as an adult.  I can not imagine going to La Fonda's in Oak Hills and him not being there .  I am so sad about losing someone who has known me so well for my entire life.  I will miss him very much.

Funny How just a week ago I was thinking of Richard,and his sister(both went to Brackenridge).  He worked many years in the resturant business, which is where I would run into him.
