Richard A. Vrana, age 67, lost his heroic battle with ALS on Sunday, November 18, 2001. He was born in Jourdanton, TX on October 22, l934 to Adolph and Marie Vrana. He was a graduate of Charlotte High School and Southwest Texas University, where he was a member of Alpha Psi Fraternity. Mr. Vrana served in the US Army. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He is survived by wife, Marilyn; son Stephen of San Antonio; brothers, Rudy Vrana of Gonzales, TX and Robert Vrana of Boerne, TX; sister, Mary Poe of San Antonio and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 at Porter Loring North.
