Ricky Marquez Jr. of San Antonio passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 42. He was born to parents Ricardo Marquez and Frances Vasquez. Ricky will be remembered for his generous spirit and unwavering kindness. He was a devoted husband and a loving father to his three children. He had a welcoming heart and opened his home to those in need. He was a hard-working man that took pride in his work. He also loved to cook for his family and friends. Ricky’s warmth and generosity touched many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Kristie Marquez, son, Nathan P. Marquez, daughters, Natalie D. Marquez, Mikayla N. Marquez, mother, Frances Vasquez, sister, Yvonne Torres and husband Leroy Torres, brother, Charlie Marquez and wife Crystal Marquez, Joseph Marquez, nephews, Anthony Torres, Atticus Marquez, Lusicious Marquez, Kaleb Marquez, nieces, Adalynn Marquez and Madison Marquez, numerous cousins and friends.
Rosary for Ricky will be Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. San Antonio TX 78211 followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Clare Catholic Church, 7701 Somerset Rd. San Antonio TX 78211. Visitation will continue at Trevino Funeral Home 2525 Palo Alto Rd, from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
