Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Rita Aileen Phillips of San Antonio passed away December 1, 2012 at the age of 80. She was born February 22, 1932 to the late Robert and Ina Phillips. Rita married Kenneth Phillips who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children Peggy Bridges and husband Gene of San Antonio, Vickie Adams and husband Dale of Austin and Mike Phillips; grandchildren Stacy Sanderson of San Antonio, Jaime Carrigan of San Antonio, Shannon Adams of Austin and Kyle Adams of Austin; great-grandchildren Erica and Erin Haslem of San Antonio and McKenzie Carrigan of San Antonio.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Shiloh Cemetery on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.
