So sorry to hear about the loss of Mrs. Polen. She was a wonderful teacher. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Rita was a wonderful friend and advocate for education in all its forms. My sympathy to you on her loss. She will be missed.

Dear Jerry, What an incredible crowd gathered last night to honor Rita and support you and Jeremy's family with their love. Bob and I will always remember Rita's laughter and joy for life. Rita was a wonderful person and educator and contributed so much toward the education of the youth who attended Randolph schools. She was a true advocate for all students. The memories of our times together are filled with learning and love. There was so much joy in Rita and memories to last a lifetime. I will miss her and never forget the loving, kind and generous person that she truly was.

Having the true pleasure of knowing Rita for many years, I am incredibly saddened by the news of her passing. When I last visited with her December 8, we talked about 'the old days' and about retirement to come. My days and years were better because of my long-time friendship with Rita. She was absolutely one of the best!

Words cannot express how badly I felt when I heard about Rita. She was one wonderful lady and I enjoyed working with her so much. May God Bless and I do know she is in a better place. But, I know whe will still be missed very much.

I only met you once but you've eaten lots of my leftovers. Yes, I am Barb from Missouri. Dear Rita was so kind to pick me up from the airport, take me back and make sure I had dinner at a new restaurant every time I visited over the last year and a half. During my last visit she even brought me by your house to meet you and her beloved Jackson. I will be sending you a letter with my memories but wanted you to know I am sorry I could not be there tomorrow or Monday but know that my thoughts and a hug are with you all. Dear Jerry and Jeremy, I have not met you, but know all about how much Rita loved you both and how you enriched her life. I have worked and played with Rita from the time she first came to Randolph. I enjoyed early morning workouts with Rita at Curves. She was a faithful member who was there by 6 a.m. most weekday mornings. She carried herself with grace and elegance and seemed to float out on a cloud as she left for work each morning. I will miss her deeply. I will keep family and friends in my thoughts and prayers.
