Rita Elizabeth Lauer Spear passed away peacefully on December 11, 2017. She was born on August 8, 1922 in Marble, PA. Rita was preceded in death by her parents Otto F. Lauer and Beatrice Lauer; husband Eldon D. (Al) Spear, sisters Lois Urbanus, Jane Roberts, and brothers Wilbur Lauer, Ronald Lauer, and Otto (Frank) Lauer; and daughter in law Yolanda Spear.
She is survived by her sons Jeffry Spear and Christopher Spear, sister Joyce Schmader, brother Delmar Lauer, and granddaughter Kendra Spear, grandson John Ramirez, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16, at 3:00 pm at Porter Loring Chapel, 1101 McCullough.
