Robbie is in our prayers always, but especially today. I will never forget her kindness and grace. 
Vernie, I pray that you are well and happy and we sure miss you both. I use her as an example for my daughters and carry remembering you both with love and gratitude.

Vernie....I am so sorry to hear about Robbie. I just found out school newsletter. I will always remember when we Robbie & you & I met Senior year in high school. I have always felt a link with Robbie since my father knew her mother since their high school days and living in Hollywood Park. I am glad we had a chance to talk a little back in 2004. What an amazing contribution Mrs.Bodden made to my life. I have one of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniels she so lovingly raised. Stryker has brought more love, joy and kindness to my life than I could have ever imagined. I will be forever grateful to Robbie for this amazing gift.  I knew Robbie from The Grooming Table as well. She was such a sweet and intelligent lady. I always enjoyed speaking with her during her weekly visits.

Dr Bodden, I came to know Robbie from her weekly visits to the Grooming Table in Dallas. She was the most lovely person I've ever met in the dog show business. She was kind to everyone at the shop and we all missed her when you moved from the area. I so regret not having kept in touch with her. You and your family are all in my prayers.

Mrs. Bodden, as I know her was a very caring person. She thought of everyone before herself. She gave me the greatest gift that she could have ever given me, my little Cavalier Timberidge Gold, a.k.a. Nugget. He has been the biggest blessing in my life. I know that Mrs. Bodden was the center of her family and loved all her children and grandchildren, as she talked about to me so much. She will be missed greatly by those who knew her and by me as well. To Mr. Bodden I am very sorry for you loss, I know she was your wife and friend for many years. Sadly, I never had the chance to meet Robbie but felt like I knew her through her husband, and still to this day my favorite doctor, Vernie Bodden. He told wonderful stories of her while I was his patient prior to him retiring. Dr. Bodden and family, I'm so sad about your loss and am praying for you during this time. Please give my love to Dr. Bodden and tell him that I think of him still and am so thankful for the season in my life that I knew him. May you all be washed in God's amazing grace and may you find peace in knowing that Robbie is in His care.

We were sorry to hear of the loss of Mrs. Bodden. We will be eternally greatful for the blessing in our life of our wonderful dog Rosie. Rosie is one of Mrs. Bodden's Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that we acquired through her daughter Margaret. Mrs. Bodden's contribution to the breed will be sorely missed.

Just last night, I was telling my youngest son the story of his birth, 23 years ago today. He was born at 27 weeks..a tiny 2-1/2 pound miracle who went on to graduate from Texas A&M last month. I told him of your encouraging words and calm manner as you helped my husband and me through those very tough hours. From 1977 to 1993, you delivered every child born to my sisters-in-law and myself...a total of 8 in all for the Callaway/Edmonds family. It is with much sadness that we read of your wife's death today. May you receive some comfort from the thoughts and words of so many that you have helped along the way. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I am do sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Bodden.We have the priviledge of now owning Tina, a "once favorite" of Margaret. Tina is a precious, loving dog. I have never owned a 'Cavie' before and have fallen for the breed. It is my understanding that Robbie had a huge part in the Cavie breed which has trickled down to us now having Tina. Robbie will be missed by her many friends. Her gracious hospitality that she shared with family and friends during the holidays will always be treasured. 
The care that she showed to her dogs and the many animals who shared her life will always be remembered. She will be remembered by her "doggie friends" for her successful showdogs and her deep concern for the health of the breed by providing heart clinics which she shared with other breeder friends. She is fondly remembered by the Alamo Area Toy Club and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club for her membership and generous support. 
We used to tease her telling her that it was impossible for any animal to die on her ranch because of the exceptional care that she gave to them. I remember laughing once because she said she had to feed her cattle because she would be embarassed to have anyone see a skinny animal on the ranch. 
Robbie was an extradinary lady, who touched the hearts of all who knew her. She was a generous, unselfish, and caring friend who will be deeply missed.

I have one of your beloved pups,Misty born on May16,2005.She is a Delta Pet Partner and visits North Central Baptist Hospital every week. She sees the little kids,men and woman of all ages and the old timers. I think she likes them best.I place her on the bed and she snuggles into their side and they stroke her soft plush fur. Sometimes they are too weak to keep their head up, but they pet her and she and they relax and go into a world of their own.I could write a book about the wonderful things I have seen this little ball of fur do for people. May all your pets be there to greet you at God's house, now that is Heaven.
