Robbin Ann Lang of Mobile, Alabama passed away on August 30, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. She was the eldest of nine siblings born to the late Monroe King and Laura Mae Bell on November 4, 1944. Robbin is a graduate of Mobile County Training School. Furthermore, she graduated from Cosmetology School, in which she learned various aspects of cosmetology, in Columbus, GA. She also was a Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA). In 1974, she began working at Dolly Madison Bakery in Columbus, GA as a baker of various snacks and cakes. She retired from Dolly Madison in December 2006 after 32 years of dedicated service.
Robbin had a passion for the Lord which began at a very early age. She enjoyed serving the Lord through cooking, fellowship, and worship at her home church of Nazareth Baptist Church in Columbus, Georgia. She adored music, sewing, pottery, and football. Additionally, she loved to travel by train visiting friends and family. Robbin was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a selfless and courageous sibling, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Robbin was predeceased by her brothers Sol Colley of Mobile, AL, Walter Colley of Detroit, MI, and Monroe Wilson King of Iowa.
She is survived by her four children Sammie (Meschell) of Jacksonville FL; Angelia of San Antonio, TX; Sonja (Ralph) of Warrenton, VA; and Driskell (Kina) of Fayetteville, GA; She leaves to cherish her memories by her brothers George Colley, James Frank and Ronald Colley of Detroit, MI; brother, Donald Colley of Atlanta, GA; sister, Arletha Colley of Birmingham, AL; sister, Laura M. Alexander of San Antonio, TX; Half-sister Dorothea King of Louin, MS; Half-brother Jeffrey Wayne King of Raleigh, MS; Half-brother Jim King of Joilet, IL; Her pride and joy grandchildren Tiffany, Calvin, Samone, Sonjia, Darryon, Jacob, Mackenzie, Desiree’ and four great grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by one uncle Willie Bell and one aunt Geneva Runderson of eight siblings in Mobile, AL; and an additional host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family is receiving friends starting at 10:00 am on Saturday September 8th, 2018 with a catered reception. The procession will begin promptly at 11:04 a.m. to honor Robbin’s birthday.
