

Bob was born and raised in New Haven Connecticut before proudly joining the United States Air Force. His military career took him around the world, including time living in England, the Philippines, Diego Garcia, and several states across the United States. After many years of dedicated service to his country, he retired from the Air Force and later
made his home in San Antonio, Texas.
Following his military career, Bob worked for many years with Dee Howard and other aircraft companies in San Antonio.
Outside of work, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved cats, spending time working in the yard, building things with his hands, and playing a good game of darts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Louis Aubrey and Helen Dorothy MacFayden Aubrey.
Bob is survived by his wife, Roberta “Bobi” Aubrey; his children, Lisa Ballay (Charlie) of New Orleans, Louisiana; Dustin Aubrey (Megan) of New Braunfels,
Texas; and step-son Michael Lefebvre of San Antonio, Texas.
He is also survived by his brother, Don, and his sisters, Joyce, Patty, and Lois, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He leaves behind his grandchildren, Zeke Kennedy; Mariah Pedraza (Arturo); Parker Kennedy (William); Mackenzie Aubrey; Braeden Aubrey; Hailey Aubrey; and Michelle Fianna Yugar Lefebvre. To his grandchildren, he was lovingly known as “Papa Bob.” He took great joy in celebrating them and never missed an opportunity to make birthdays and Christmas special with thoughtful gifts.
Bob was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Brailee, JP, Sadee, Axel, and Greyson.
Bob will be remembered for his service to his country, his devotion to his family, and the lasting memories he created with those who loved him.
Arrangements are made through Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on March 17th at 10:15 AM.
