Robert, AKA Bagels and was my lamb chop. I miss you on a daily basis, Robert. I am so happy for all our memories since the early '90's...trips to Austin, Disney, visiting with you in Atlanta, Dragoncon x 2 and so many more. I'm so glad I got to see you when you were in San Antonio summer of 2015. You will always be a big part of my heart. There is no one who could make me happy like you; all the silly things you would do with me. I miss you like crazy! I love you always...forever ever and a day.

Robert was my classmate and I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. In school, I remember him as this sweet, funny and goofy guy! My sincere condolences and prayers go out to his friends and family. Class of '86.

I am so sad and sorry to hear Robert has passed away. My heart goes out to his mother, girlfriend, family and loved ones. 

We were high school friends in San Antonio. He went to Roosevelt High, and I went to Incarnate Word. I met him on a blind date my friends wanted to fix me up with a punk rock boy. :) 

We became friends. We would talk on the phone for hours late into the night about music, life and how we sometimes felt like misfits. He was a sweet, quirky, unconventional guy with a great sense of mischief, as someone else described him on this guest book. 

Robert was my senior prom date. He took me to the Grey Moss Inn for dinner. We danced like fiends to '80s new wave at prom, and we fled the dance floor when the DJ played John Fogerty. :)

I remember the comic book store and the "Bloom County" Opus T-shirt he gave me. I remember riding in his car as he shifted gears, cranked up the volume on "Suffragette City" and wailed along with the chorus, "Awwww, wham bam, thank you, ma'am!"
To this day, I think of him when I hear that song.

Robert, say hi to Bowie for me, and thank you for the fun and friendship so many years ago.

Robert was one of the first people I met when I moved out East, and was a great person to talk to, hang out with and tell war stories. He was a great introduction to all the warm and wonderful people I met. I wish I had gotten to spend more time with him.

Robert had the rare combination of being incredibly compassionate and generous, while having a delightful sense of humor and a talent for good-natured mischief. He made me laugh harder than many I've met in my life, and impressed me with his good heart. We are richer people for having known him, and I will keep his memory dear.

I am so very sad to hear that Robert has moved on from this life. He was a wonderful and fun human being. Thank you for being my friend Robert. Although I haven't seen you in several years I will always remember you and your kindness.  My deepest condolences to your family.

So sad to hear of Roberts passing. He used to check up on me at work all through the day and make me laugh. I am so blessed that I knew him. Sweet Robert, thank you for making me feel special. You are loved and I will never forget you.

It is very rare that you sometimes meet that certain someone that is so unique and special  that when they're gone you feel as if a part of you went with them...Robert, with his mischievous smile and one of a kind personality, was that type of person. His untimely passing has left a huge void and my heart grieves for his family, friends and loved ones. May we all find peace and comfort in our memories of Robert until the day we are all with him again.

My heart goes out to you at this difficult time.  Whatever soothes your soul and comforts your heart, that is what is wished.

Thank you to all that have signed this guest book. Your words, the condolences to Ba, the beautiful things you have said about Robert have really helped his mother through a very difficult time in her life. Ba we love you. Robert will be missed.

Although I only got to meet him once when he came down to San Antonio to see Ba, I instantly could tell how wonderful person Robert was. I and my 7 year old daughter Rebekah were honored to met him and spent some time with him. He was sweet, intelligent and funny that we fell in love with him instantly.
Now God took him to heaven to have Robert in nothing but love and peace.
He was very much loved by us.

Robert leaves behind a empty spot in the Resurgens family that no one will be able to fill. His memory will live forever in the hearts of those that have been blessed to know him.

Robert was "One of a kind" person, he made us all laugh at work. He will truly be missed. I miss you buddy!

Robert was a dear friend of mine as he was to others as well.  My heart aches for his family and friends during this difficult time.  I am going to miss his vibrant personality and seeing his smile on his face.  He was a great work partner and could turn any hard day into a fun day.  My dear "Roberto" you will forever be remembered as a team member of Team Holliger.  Rest in peace my friend and I know we will see each other again.  To his family please accept my sincere condolences.  You raised an amazing person and I am elated I was able to be a part of his life.

Robert was such a sweetheart. I'll miss his kindness, quirky sense of humor and hearing his joke of the day. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who loved him.

I remember the day I met Bagels, as he was called then. We were both around 17 or maybe 18, and I went to a comic book store where he worked. I couldn't find what I was looking for, a new Vampire Lestat graphic novel. So I asked him and when I did we looked at each other like two kindred spirits. Up to that point neither one of us had met anyone in San Antonio who liked the same things we did. We talked about comics and vampire movies, Anne Rice books, and sci fi and music for hours. We remained friends and we wrote to each other off and on when he was in the Army. It's hard to believe that was 30 years ago. I will miss my friend. Boldly go, Robert (Bagels).

Robert was a light in the world, I will miss seeing him at work laughing having nice talks. My condolences to his family and all the friends whom loved him.

Robert was a very kind and gental soul. He always had a smile on his face and was a hard worker. His friends will miss him in Georgia, but he will never be forgotten and will live in our hearts forever! Rest in Peace Rorbert!
