We are deeply saddened at the news of Bob's death. He was among our first new friends when we moved to San Antonio in 1976. We at Golden Manor will miss Bob tremendously. It has been less than a week that he was pouring wine for our residents and their families at our Thanksgiving Celebration. The memory of him and Bill volunteering for that event and many others throughout the years! will linger in our hearts for a long time to come.

Seeing Bob always makes me feel good and want to smile. Through the ups and downs of life in San Antonio he was consistantly positive and upbeat. Negative people did not seem to affect his demeanor and optimism. Mostly I will miss his cheerfulness, maturity, and remarkable insight.

I only met Bob and Bill a few times, but enjoyed many stories of Bob's life from his cousin Robyn. What a good man he was. My heart goes out to the entire family most especially Nancy and Robyn whom I adore. Dear Bill, I know it's hard to hear of Bob in past tense.
