Dr. Bonner graduated from Grinnell College in Iowa. He received his Medical Degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, Masters Degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. He served in the US Air Force as Flight Surgeon, Orthopedic Surgeon, Tropical Disease Specialist, and Hospital Commander, and retired as a Colonel after 32 years of service. Dr. Bonner was a Vietnam Veteran and a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Janice L. Bonner of Universal City, TX; son, Michael Bonner of Crystal Lake, IL; daughters, Sheila Dulevitz and husband Michael of San Antonio, TX, Kaki Campbell and husband Robert of Lubbock, TX, Elizabeth Ruggiero and husband Vincenzo of Montichiari, Italy; and eight
