
He made this journey on August 9, 2003 in the presence of his much adored wife of 54 years, Annelda Kit Brauchle.
Bob served his country as a Captain in the U.S. Army during WWII in the European Campaign. He proudly received his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M in 1938. Later he earned a Master of Education from U.T. but remained an "Aggie" tried and true.
Bob began his teaching career at Burbank High School where he taught Vocational Agriculture. After returning from overseas, he taught with the Veterans Training Program in Atascosa County.
In 1952, Bob joined the staff of the Northeast High School now Mac Arthur H.S. where he taught all of the sciences for the entire district and started his counseling career. In 1966, Bob moved to Trinity University as a counselor where he later became the Director of Test and Measurements.
Bob was an avid sportsman, a master gardener, an enthusiastic pigeon flyer, and a handyman extraordinaire. Family was everything to Bob.
He was a much loved husband, daddy, grandfather, great grandfather, coworker, and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Kit; his four children and their spouses, Phyllis and Mike Dodic, Debbie Brauchle and Larry Verner, Robbie and Gary Kothmann, and Henry and Becky Brauchle; foster son, Herbert Sepper and wife Helgard and family; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren, Gayle Bogs and husband Rev. Ron Bogs, Erin Jackson and husband Joe Jackson, Brandon and Alyssa Kothmann, and Jenne and Elle Brauchle, Caleb, Joshua and Hannah Bogs.
