Robert Leonard "Bob" Brockman, 86, died Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Garden Ridge Assisted Living with his wife by his side. Bob was born on February 29, 1936 in Joliet, Illinois to Leonard and Gladys Brockman. Bob was married to Lieselotte "Lilo" Sasse in Wiesbaden, Germany in June 1965. Bob is preceded in death by parents and sister Edith Ambrose Lavender. Bob is survived by his wife, "Lilo" and son, Ronald H. Brockman of Schertz, Texas. Bob retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant. He loved his life in Schertz, Texas and enjoyed helping around the city with various organizations including BVYA. In his last days, he received extraordinary care from the hospice team and the staff at Garden Ridge Assisted Living at 9621 Meadow Rue in Garden Ridge, Texas.
His ashes will be interred on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 10:15 am, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
