Robert Henry Callies, age 78, passed away in San Antonio, TX, on October 30, 2025. He was born on October 9, 1947, in San Antonio to Edward Richard Callies Sr. and Lorene Odessa Whitney Callies. Robert is a graduate of Breckenridge High School, Class of 1965 and attended St. Phillips College, majoring in Accounting. Robert also served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Phyllis Johnson. He is survived by his brother, Clarence Callies, Sr. and his wife, Stella; his nephews: Milton Johnson, Ellis Johnson, and Clarence Callies, Jr.; and his niece, Yvonne Callies as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m., with a service to follow at 11:30 a.m., on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Porter Loring Mortuary. Interment with military honors will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
