

Robert was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Ted and Julia Callaway, Roy and Marie Carter; and his uncle, Roy Delton Carter.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Robert and Nancy Carter of San Antonio; his sister, Dawn Roth and her husband Doug Roth of Melissa, Texas; his niece, Reese Fleming, and nephew, Colin Fleming, both of College Station; his uncle and aunt, John and Carolyn Haller of San Antonio; his cousin, John Michael Haller and wife Erica Haller of San Antonio, along with their children, Sabrina and Kevin Haller. He also leaves behind many dear friends and extended family members who will miss him greatly.
Robert graduated from Clark High School in San Antonio in 1998. He worked for HEB and Fiesta 16 Movie Theater, where he was known for his friendly nature and strong work ethic.
Throughout his life, Robert had a passion for sports. He played baseball as a catcher and football as a center. He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors, especially hunting with his father on the Carter ranch. As his illness progressed, he found enjoyment in video games, movies, and music.
Robert will be remembered as a kind young man with a wonderful sense of humor and a heart devoted to God. His faith was central to his life, and he strived to put God first in all he did. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held at Sunset North Funeral Home, located at 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas, 78232, on March 7, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
A celebration of Robert's life will follow at the same venue, starting at 3:00 pm on March 7, 2026.
