He is survived by his wife, Winoma A. Clements; brothers Richard Clements, and James Clements and his wife, Evelyn Clements; his daughters Ann Clemence and Jean Traviss; his daughter's husbands Martin Clemence and Richard Lunt; and grandchildren Roy Traviss, Crystal Clemence, Robert Clemence, and Rikki Lunt.
Robert Clements was born to Francis David Clements and Winifred Noonan Clements on June 5, 1931 in Supulpa, OK. He went to Washington University in St. Louis to get his degree. He worked as an aeronautical engineer for 30 years. His hobby for many of those years was flying single engine planes. His family took many flying trips together.
In 1989 he was driving and a wrecker hit their car. He was seriously injured but he worked on at Dee Howard until 1993, when he retired to spend more time with his wife, daughters, grandchildren and friends.
