Robert Connolly, 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. He enlisted in the Army as a private at age 18, served two tours of duty in Viet Nam receiving the Bronze Star, and retired as a Major followed by 25 years of federal service for the Department of Veterans Affairs. He was a graduate of Northwestern University, receiving his master’s degree from Oklahoma University.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ella Connolly; his daughter, Laura Marie Connolly; and parents, Clarence and Eileen Connolly.
Robert is survived by his sons Robert and Richard; and daughter, Karen.
