Robert Zachary Dickerson, age 36, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. Born & raised in San Antonio, Texas to Susan & Robert Dickerson, Jr., "Zach" was a dream come true as their firstborn son. He was quickly joined by his sister, Sydney Michelle, when he was 19 months old & they grew up as best friends.
Zach graduated from Sandra Day OConnor High School in 2004 & then went on to receive his bachelors degree from University of Texas at San Antonio. Zach excelled at anything he attempted - swimming, running, biking, soccer, basketball, piano, saxophone, amongst many other things. Zach was a constant entrepreneur. In elementary school he was cornering the market on rocks for 25 cents, then progressed to sticks of gum in middle school. It was a surprise to no one when he ended up choosing a career in sales. Zach had an innate ability to captivate the room, making every moment a memorable one. The void he leaves behind is insurmountable.
Zach was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Joan McNamara, his paternal grandmother Elizabeth Dickerson, & paternal grandfather Robert Dickerson, Sr. Zach is survived by his mother & father Susan & Robert Dickerson, Jr,; his sister Sydney (Steven) Bass; his nephews Coleman & Calvin Bass; his maternal grandfather Robert McNamara; his aunts Patricia (Martin) Wadford; Elizabeth (Jason) Morris; Elaine (Tony) Williams; & his six cousins.
