'Death's sting never goes away... it's reconstituted by memories and events like a dried out sponge that's placed in water. Bobby's memory will likely resurface by others commenting on something they shared. Or whenever you see a casino, football game or fishing pole. It's hard but try not to dwell on the sadness of your loss, rather embrace and smile at the good times you shared. Although death's pain will lessen with time, pray that we never forget those who have passed. The ancient Hebrews say, "Immortality is when those who come after us remember us." Immortalize Bobby by sharing his story with friends, kids, and grandkids. Our sadness when we lose a loved one is a Christian Paradox - but remember Christ too wept for Lazarus. I know you all will miss him for a longtime.'

'I went to Central Catholic with Robert. After graduation we attended St. Mary's together. There was a time when I saw Robert on a daily basis. We both enjoyed lifting weights. He was very good at it and I learned a lot from him. I remember his Bronco, that he was very proud of. I got to ride in it a few times. That was very memorable. I moved away, first Austin, and now have been living in the Rio Grande Valley for 20 years. I still remember my friend Robert. My condolences to the family. I am thankful for the time that I knew him, and I want to reach out to his sister who I remember fondly and tell her that I am sorry to hear of his passing and that the Lord bring her and the family peace knowing that Robert is with Him.
