Robert Gusby Jr.

Robert was born in Columbus to Robert Gusby Sr. and Carrie Lou on January 2, 1941. He married Kiwako Gusby on March 4th, 1977 in Selma, Alabama. He worked as a Recreation Specialist, and changed his career field to Command post for the United State of Air Force for 22 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Carrie & Robert Gusby Sr., brother James, Jessie, sister Ethel Harris and his daughter Tracy Nicole Gusby.

Robert is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kiwako Gusby.

Pallbearers will be the Air Force Military Honors.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. A committal service will follow on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors given to him at that time. Any floral deliveries should be delivered to Sunset Northwest Funeral Home by Monday, March 24.
