Robert Byrne James II, 77, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, in Helotes. He was born on December 3, 1932 in San Antonio to Byrne and Mary James, and worked as a veterinarian for most of his life.
Beloved husband, devoted father and grandfather, and friend to all, he will be deeply missed.
Byrne was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Jo Anne James; a daughter, Dawn Utterback Carl; a son, Robert "Trey" Byrne James III Anne; and 6 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 28th from 6 to 7 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
