He was an officer in the U. S. Navy during World War II. Bob was an executive manager with Kodak International for Mexico and Brazil.
He was an active archeologist throughout Central America. Bob was Consultant/Director for Becas Magdalena O.Vda de Brockman, A.C. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, lapidarist and jeweler, and recognized as the first discoverer of jade deposits in the Americas.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Sandra Leslie; daughter, Adreon Leslie; sons, William Leslie, and wife, Sharon, Robert Leslie, Jr., David Leslie; six grandchildren; and sister, Maria de la Luz Leslie.
