He is preceded in death by his parents Dr. Robert (Doc) & Hilda (Tommy) Maurer and Best Friend Danny Manning.
Bobby is survived by his brother Bruce Alan Maurer; sister in law Marion Rainbird Maurer; Dear Friends Ronnie Starr and Lana Jones and so many others that he loved so much.
Bobby enjoyed being a member of the community as a part of the Opportunity Workshop, Goodwill Industries and the Fiesta Texas Special Needs Program.
A visitation will begin at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with a service to be held in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 p.m. that same day. Private interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park
