Robert loved his family and was a dedicated employee of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. He was a people person, loved fishing, hunting and was a true cowboy, traveling many trail rides with his horses, Duke, Stormy and Velvet.
He was preceded in death by his father, Andres Menchaca.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Natasha Anne Menchaca; grandsons, Andres Arrendondo and Jeremy Wade Menchaca; mother, Helen Menchaca; two brothers, Andrew Menchaca and wife, Maria, and Rudy V. Menchaca; niece, Anissa Morgan and husband, Rob; nephew, Rene Menchaca; three great-nieces, Victoria, Alicen and Reagan and numerous other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service following at 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough Ave.
A Funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 315 E. Pecan.
Graveside service at 2:00 p.m. in Vanness Cemetery in Poteet, Texas.
